Meta Permissions Checklist

To ensure that LinkDM functions properly, you need to check and confirm that you have the correct permissions set up in your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Follow the steps below to check your permissions:

Permission Check #1 - Page Settings

Go to Facebook.com.
Navigate to your Facebook page > Settings > Linked Accounts > Instagram.
Check if there are any errors or warnings. If yes, follow the steps to fix them. If no, proceed to the next step.

Permission Check #2 - Business Suite Settings

Go to Meta Business Suite.
Check the dashboard for any errors or warnings. If yes, follow the steps to fix them. If no, proceed to the next step.

Permission Check #3 - Business Manager Settings

Go to Business Manager Settings.
Navigate to Pages > Select your page > Select your name in the People column on the right and check if you have “Full control”.
Repeat the same process for Instagram accounts: Select your Instagram account > Select your name and make sure that all the toggles are turned on!
